During the 2000s the Girl brand gains more and more popularity, Mike Carroll and Rick Howard set out to make one of the videos that will make history named "Modus Operandi." The video features skaters who would make waves in the years to follow.

Skaters of the caliber of Brandon Biebel, Sean Malto, Mike Mo Capaldi, and Jeremy Rogers made great contributions to the brand in those years with powerful and technical skating that was coming out of the 1990s and into a new era that is still present in modern day skating today.

GIRL SKATEBOARDS THE LEGEND CONTINUE

Girl's story continues and in 2009 a new pro named Corey Kennedy joins the team after winning numerous competitions. The day Corey Kennedy turned pro the team printed boards with his name on them and one day they were given to a few riders. In the skatepark that day it took 20 minutes for Corey to realize that everyone had the same board with his name printed on it.

In 2013 one of Girl's historic riders Brian Henderson and Steve Olson announced that they wanted to leave the company. The two riders leave the company to find personal inspiration for their future.

The two pro skaters state that they are not leaving Girl out of dissatisfaction but, to have a personal project in life that would reflect their ideas and lifestyles. During those years, the two formed a company called "3D skateboards."

THE ERA OF PRETTY SWEET AND GIRL'S REVOLUTION

In 2012 Girl skateboards revolutionized the skateboarding world with the release of the video "Pretty Sweat," and this video changed the perspective of the way of skateboarding. Pretty Sweat was conceived and made by the mind of the brilliant director "Federico Vitetta" AKA "Femar" the Italian one.

Pretty Sweat was a revolution both from the point of view of directing the video but, especially for the level brought by the skaters with very innovative and powerful tricks on walls, steps and ledges.

It is worth mentioning the part of Sean Malto who smashed everything and everyone and made a lot of buzz after the release of the video and still today Malto is one of the most representative skaters of the Girl brand.

Girl's philosophy has remained intact over time. A philosophy dedicated to friendship and being together, a united team with a lot of desire to create is the best tactic to send forward a brand that is long-lived over time.

In 2015, two very important icons of the Girl brand leave for good, skaters Koston and Mariano break away from the group and it is a big loss for the 'company that despite everything does not let it get down.
