POLAR SKATE CO THE BRAND

Polar Skate co. was created by legend Pontus Alv, after working with dedication for Clichè and Mad Circle in the past in the early 2000s with whom he toured the world.

Pontus Alv decided to return to his hometown in Sweden in 2003 to devote himself to his future projects which mainly included skateboard filming.

During those years Pontus Alv became a renowned filmmaker creating two timeless classic skate movies such as “Strongest Of The Strange” and “In Search Of The Miracolous” that established Pontus in the world skateboard scene.

With all the experience gained after his return to Malmo around 2011 Pontus Alv decided to launch his own brand Polar skate co. Starting to work on the project with all his might.

Thanks to his brand launch videos such as “The Polar Skate Co. Promo” and “No Complyes and Wallride+Shuvit.” Polar began to gain widespread popularity by receiving extraordinary feedback in a short time, Polar becomes Worldwide famous going beyond national borders.

The type of skateboarding Polar presented was as innovative as the footage and the approach the brand had, this is a brand that was different from the usual standards. Pontus Alv’s main focus was to create for each rider a unique face, a creation, a way to elevate the individual qualities of each rider.
