You don't call the base of the ultrafear extruded but syntruded which means a mix between a top of the line sintered base and a slab SUPERDRIVE™ base. Material falls into the category of syntruded boards that offer the advantages of both sintered and extruded bases. These bases take on the characteristics and manufacturing techniques used in the creation of the extruded base material, but because of the higher pressure and temperature, they increase the surface hardness to levels close to most sintered bases. SUPERDRIVE™ EX is the benchmark for synthesized materials.

At that time, the owners of Capita snowboarding turned their entrepreneurial project around. They found the necessary funds and decided that in order to stand out from the rest they should invest in DIY production.

THE CRISIS AND THE REBIRTH OF THE BRAND

Capita is his bosses decide to buy the Elan Factory and settle in Austria where they find themselves holding a factory that still has an old-fashioned footprint.

The American brand's bosses decide that that factory needs to be modernized and rebuilt. It is here that a team of industry experts creates, designs and plans “the mothership.”
