OP1UM SKATE CO.

The latest thing on the streets has a name and it’s called Op1um skate co. Reflecting the do-it-yourself approach typical of skateboarding, a crew of friends wanted a style of clothing that reflected their attitude, was recognizable and was comfortable at the same time. The designs conceived had to reflect the dynamics of skateboarding itself, aimed at constant evolution that knows no limits.

Following this organic evolution, the members of the crew based in Bern, Switzerland, decide to take their destiny into their own hands and founds Op1um skate co. Elijah and Michael are the two skate pals who put their focus on creating a skate brand that speaks the language of the cities across Europe.

During 2019 Elijah and Michael get to work studying together every aspect of what will be promotion but also of production and spend an intense period of designing and filming where they evaluate every aspect of their project which will become a significant reality even outside the confines of their nation. The two friends begin to turn their ideas into reality and this is how Op1um’s proposal takes shape, from the hardware of skate decks and grip tape to apparel.

In constant contact with its fan base, Op1um works by creating limited series that make their garments rare and sought after, becoming with such dynamic a true cult brand to keep an eye on.

OP1UM SKATEBOARDING

Following a discourse of authenticity as it must be in the street world, an Op1um team cannot be missing that represents the brand in all its aspects. 8 Swiss and 3 Italian skaters are the advocates who carry forward the original style of skateboarding: team spirit, fun and collective growth.

Op1um saw Pleasures Milano as a natural partner in a project where the philosophy that triggered the initial spark can only be extended to other people who share it, seeing things from the same perspective. The last drop we present to you includes items that you can wear in a skate session as well as at school or in the studio, all with a common denominator: they talk about what makes you burn. We at Pleasures Milano are excited to exclusively present to you their first drop for 2024.
