THE MAGENTA BRAND BORN BETWEEN PARIS AND BURGUNDY

The story of Magenta begins with the friendship of two Parisian skaters who found themselves sharing an apartment for years and skating together every day. Day after day they put together their ideas and dreams and came up with designs and logos that became reality by founding the brand shortly after.

Their apartment was located on a street that was precisely called boulevard de magenta. On this street was the site that housed the creme of the Parisian skate scene. Between sessions who would have imagined that the two skaters would be so successful. Magenta embodies the new way of skateboarding but, holding firm to the real street culture to which the skateboarding world belongs.

That’s where the name Magenta comes to life. Also centered in all this is the Lombard town named Magenta where a tremendous battle took place in 1859. Every year this battle is commemorated in the Parisian street.

After creating the brand, born out of years of shared passion, the creators of Magenta moved to Bordeaux. In the small town, the climate is definitely calmer than Paris to be able to work and skate better than in the capital.

MAGENTA A BRAND DEVELOPED BY SKATERS
