Deathwish Skateboards is among the new millennium brands that rock and boss the most, the brand was born within “Bakerboys distribution.”

The Two pro skaters who skate for Baker skateboards, Jim Greco with Erik Ellington founded the brand within the distribution and during that time there was too much talent so the integration of a brand other than Baker was needed. They wanted to create a brand with different features and designs from the boss brand.

The Deathwish skateboards brand was set up by Jim Greco with 70s and 80s graphics with references to movies of the time. Horror and Cult graphics for the new brand that born in 2008, Deathwish’s classic logo is taken from a 70s movie of legendary American actor Charles Bronson. Logo and references reflect the attitude of the team.

Soon after the birth of the brand, the brand’s first video was released called “Baker has deathwish skateboards.” With this video the brand was introduced globally to the public, the feedback was immediately very positive so much so that the team has always been constantly evolving the first ideo also includes riders from Baker.

Erik Ellington introduces the brand by unveiling the first boards and the first t-shirts and sweatshirts. One of the first pro riders was Antwuan Dixon. Later, he would have problems with the justice system before making a comeback in recent years. Skaters around the world have followed Dixon’s events and have always been supportive of the skater for a return to the scene.

The Deathwish deathstack and “gang” logo immediately became a must-have and the feedback was immediately very positive for the future of the new brand. The Gang logo is a symbol of a very powerful American gang that brings terror and trouble wherever it goes. An aggressive logo for a team that is not afraid of anything.

In 2014 the first official video “the Deathwish video” is released where, amazing tricks come one after another. The team sets off on tour to perform the best lines and most difficult tricks in the strangest and most dangerous spots.

In the deathwish skateboards video they skate pros like Lizard king, Ellington and Neen Williams on the heaviest rails and ledges, in the craziest spots you can find. Today the team is going strong with skaters of the caliber of Pedro Delfino and Jamie Foy. Who, with their two different styles of skateboarding destroy any skateable structure.

Jamie Foy in addition to skate handrails is always present in international competitions such as Tampa pro, Sls and Dew tour. Foy always finds great placings that definitely grow his brand. Jamie Foy is known to give back powerful with tricks like fs feeble, fs krook and many more. Pedro Delfino in transition is one of the strongest in the world with his raw and powerful style.

The other pro riders in the Deathwish skateboards team are no less like Brian “slash ”Hansen, Jon Dickson, Neen Williams, Taylor Kirby,Jake Hayes, Eric Valdez and Lizard King!

The Deathwish skateboards team participated in the famous “king of the road” contest. The event is by invitation only and few teams can participate. The 2017 edition saw the team finish third.
