Alien Workshop was born when skateboarding had its crucial change of direction i.e. in 1990. In 1990, the brand was born with the alien that went around the world.
The brand was founded in Daytona, Ohio by Chris Carter ,Mike Hill and Neil Blender . In those years the skateboard industry was very concentrated in California.

Then the team that was put together was really strong . The team consisted of Rob Dyrdek , Duane Pitre , Bo Turner , John Pryor , Scott Conklin , tomas Morgan and Steve Claar . The whole team was happy about this new skateboard brand coming from another state.

In 1991 the first Alien Workshop video was released and it was called “memory screen.”
A young Rob Dyrdek who was already doing some crazy tricks when he was young. His street skate level very high for those times , it was 1990-1991.

After the release of the first video Alien Workshop began to be famous all over the world. Alien workshop boards were sold for many years as best sellers. Due to the quality is the level of Hype the brand gave to the skate community around the world.

In 1997 the second video clip was released 6 years after the first . The second video named “timecode” which included both old riders . Josh Kalis was added who joined the team in those years.

In the late 90’s the brand is sold by the founders to the group “dna” which acquired the Ohio brand at that time.
With the advent of the new boss, the brand continued to live on and produce high-quality skateboards.

THE SALE OF THE ALIEN WORKSHOP BRAND TO ROB DIRDEK

In 2012 Rob Dirdek buys the brand from Burton Snowboards management. The brand shines again and enters a new dimension. His first rider Dirdek had just become the head of the brand and things would change shortly thereafter.

But the story was not a lucky one for Rob Dirdek. It was years of ups and downs. Many skaters on the team left the brand such as Jason Dill , Ave and Mikey Taylor . In addition, management problems led to a small decline of the brand, which then rebounded in 2016.

After years of the brand’s static suffering in 2016 the Alien Workshop brand came back to life. Thanks to the entry of TumYeto distribution Alien shines again.
Alien was a landmark brand that did not deserve to be in the doldrums.

REBIRTH WITH TUMYETO FAMILY

Immediately a video called “bunker down” comes out. In this video, new team riders make the brand back in huge better than before.
In 2017 new pro skaters arrive and new collabs with thrasher and supreme that give new momentum to the brand.

Rob Dirdek is no longer involved in the company’s marketing and this seems to be good for Alien Workshop.
Today the brand continues to produce skateboards of excellent quality . In addition, complete skateboards for all levels and a line of clothing such as t-shirts and sweatshirts are made.

The team consists of young skaters who rock and with a new school style of powerful and fast skateboarding. We find skaters like Sammy Montano, Joey Guevara , Joe Biewan , Frankie Spears and many other rippers who rock.
