The Union Atlas Step On 2026 was created for those who want all the speed and convenience of the Step On system without sacrificing the precision, support and power transmission that have made the Atlas one of the most highly regarded bindings among the most demanding all-mountain riders. It is a binding designed for intermediate, advanced and expert snowboarders seeking high performance on-piste, off-piste and in the most challenging mountain conditions.
Thanks to the Step On Instant Connection system, entry takes just a few seconds: simply insert the heel to activate the rear lock and press down with the toe until you hear the classic closing click. Exit is just as quick using the lever positioned on the heel. The result is an intuitive, fast and reliable system that lets you spend more time riding and less time stopping.
The baseplate was specifically developed to provide the solidity and responsiveness typical of the Atlas series, while maintaining the comfort needed for long days on the snow. The Duraflex CB construction ensures a precise response even in the coldest temperatures, while the 3D extruded aluminium heelcup increases torsional rigidity and guarantees immediate transmission of input from the boot to the board.
With an overall flex of 8/10, the Atlas Step On sits in the performance range of the Union line. It offers high support, excellent stability at high speeds and a quick response during edge changes, making it perfect for medium-stiff all-mountain and freeride boards. Despite its aggressive nature, it maintains good vibration absorption thanks to the high-density EVA materials used in the base.
